Triple Crown isn't stretching the truth when they call themselves "The Family Builders." This family-owned and operated Marion County-based business is established on the solid foundation of a family whose lives revolve around the construction of quality homes. Oliver and Monica Plunkett raised their family in the Mid-West before relocating to Florida in the early 80's. Having worked in all phases of the construction business in his lifetime, it made sense to Oliver and Monica Plunkett to have their own business. One of the joys of it is that the family -- including wife Monica and five of their eight grown children -- are now an active part of the operation which includes Triple Crown Homes and Triple Crown Realty.

Oliver is focused on helping the business grow by scouting out new properties for real estate and building opportunities; Monica works in the office and handles the administrative part of the construction business; daughter Kathleen is a broker with Triple Crown Realty; son John is the general contractor at Triple Crown; son Patrick oversees construction projects in his position as superintendent; son Kevin works in sales at Quail Meadow (a subdivision in which Triple Crown is a premier builder); and son Michael helps with everything from hands-on labor to inspections.
